The Garmin Approach R50 is a floor-based photometric launch monitor that positions 6–8 feet to the side of the ball on the target line. No ceiling mount, no overhead hardware — set it on the floor and start hitting. The three-camera system captures high-speed impact video on every shot and delivers spin rate and spin axis as directly measured values, not estimates.
A built-in 10″ color touchscreen (800×1280 px) runs Home Tee Hero natively, meaning the R50 can operate as a self-contained simulator without a PC, phone, or secondary display. For full software access, the R50 connects to E6 Connect, E6 Apex, GSPro, and Awesome Golf via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

Garmin R50 SimKit — Eagle 12 Bay
The Eagle 12 provides a full-width 4:3 screen at 12 feet, overhead projector mount, and clear rear access for mat placement. The R50 sits on the floor to the side of the hitting position — no ceiling routing or overhead bracket required for the launch monitor itself.
