Brightest 1080P Option, Toughest Build

Maximum Brightness, Maximum Durability.

The LH860ST combines the brightest laser engine in BenQ’s 1080P golf lineup with the toughest dust protection — a fixed 0.5:1 ultra-short throw, 5,000 ANSI lumens, and an IP6X sealed optical engine that goes a full grade beyond the IP5X rating on its siblings. It is built for bays that run daily, in dusty garages, and need every bit of brightness they can get.

Why The LH860ST

Built For Rooms That Need Brightness And Toughness.

5,000-Lumen Laser Engine

The brightest 1080P laser projector in the ESG lineup, holding up well in garages and rooms with meaningful ambient light.

Ultra-Short 0.5:1 Throw

A fixed lens mounts far closer to the screen than a standard short-throw projector, well suited to tight bays.

IP6X Sealed Optical Engine

A full grade beyond the IP5X rating on other BenQ golf projectors — the toughest dust protection in the lineup, ideal for unfinished garage installs.

3,000,000:1 Contrast

Deep blacks and strong highlight punch for realistic course lighting and shadow detail.

Ultra-Low Input Lag

As low as 6 ms at 240Hz, 8.4 ms at 120Hz, or 16.7 ms at 60Hz — among the fastest response in the lineup.

Commercial-Style Connectivity

2× HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort, LAN, dual USB-A, RS-232, and a 12V trigger for integrated AV control.

Who Is It Best For?

Golfers and facility owners who want the brightest possible 1080P image and the toughest dust protection in the lineup — unfinished garage bays, commercial sim lounges, or any install running daily in a less-than-clean environment.

Short Throw & Setup

An Ultra-Short Throw Built For Precision.

Ultra-Short-Throw Geometry

A fixed 0.5:1 throw ratio with no zoom mounts closer to the screen than nearly any other projector in the lineup, similar in profile to the AH500ST.

  • 0.5:1 fixed throw ratio, no zoom
  • ~105% offset keeps the image low without extreme downward tilt
  • 2D keystone for squaring the image on off-center mounts
  • Compatible with floor or ceiling mounting

Installer Checklist

Because the lens is fixed, distance has to be right the first time — there is no zoom to correct for a misjudged measurement.

  • Confirm exact mounting distance with the projector fitment tool before drilling
  • Use 12V trigger output to sync screen or lighting automation with power-on
  • LAN port supports remote monitoring across multi-bay facilities
  • IP6X sealed engine tolerates dusty, unfinished garage environments
What Is The LH860ST

BenQ’s Brightest, Toughest 1080P Golf Projector.

The LH860ST sits at the top of BenQ’s 1080P golf lineup for raw brightness, pairing a 5,000-lumen laser engine with the toughest dust-sealed optical engine BenQ offers on a golf-tuned projector. Its fixed 0.5:1 throw ratio puts it in the same ultra-short-throw category as the AH500ST, but with more lumens and a higher dust protection rating.

Because the lens is fixed with no zoom, mounting distance has to be right the first time. Run your screen size and enclosure depth through the ESG projector fitment tool and throw calculator before finalizing the mount.

Its laser light source is rated for roughly 20,000 hours in Normal mode and up to 30,000 hours in Eco mode, holding brightness steady over years of daily use without a lamp change.

For PC-based simulators running GSPro, E6 Connect, TGC 2019, or Awesome Golf, the LH860ST connects via HDMI 2.0b or DisplayPort and delivers input lag as low as 6 ms at 240Hz, among the most responsive options in the ESG lineup.
