Because Trackman iO is overhead, the floor stays clear, both right- and left-handed golfers use the same setup, and no additional room lighting is required. There is no minimum distance in front of or behind the ball — just enough room to swing a club and mount the unit at the correct height.

Any software tier can be paired with the Trackman iO DUO configuration — a second overhead unit installed side-by-side so left- and right-handed golfers share the same bay without repositioning. Required when bay width is under 14 ft and both dexterities will play. Choose a DUO ceiling-height option to add the second unit. DUO adds $5,000 to Home ($18,995 total) and $4,500 to Home Complete or Commercial ($28,495 total).
Ceiling Height
Three single-unit calibration profiles (8'9"–9'5", 9'4"–10', 9'10"–10'6") plus two DUO profiles (9'4"–10', 9'10"–10'6"). Select the range that matches your finished hitting-surface-to-ceiling measurement.

Ideal Mounting Height 9'8" — Range 9'4" To 10'.
Trackman iO installs directly to the ceiling above the tee. The unit ships with the required ceiling bracket and mounting plate for a standard VESA 100 × 100 install between 9'4" and 10' above the finished hitting surface, with 9'8" as the ideal calibration height.
For ceilings above 10'6", a VESA 100 × 100 drop mount is required (sold separately). Three calibration heights (LOW, MID, HIGH) cover 8'10" to 10'6" so the unit can adapt to most residential and commercial rooms.
Mount In Front Of The Tee
Trackman iO mounts 3'3" to 3'5" in front of the tee (measured from tee to center of mount) for the correct camera and radar geometry.
LOW Calibration
8'10" to 9'6" from hitting surface to ceiling. Ideal for lower-ceiling residential rooms.
MID Calibration
9'4" to 10' from hitting surface to ceiling. The most common and recommended range.
HIGH Calibration
9'10" to 10'6" from hitting surface to ceiling. Supported by both iO and iO DUO.

Trackman recommends at least 10 ft ceiling, 15 ft room width, and 18 ft depth for full driver swings with comfortable clearance. The DUO configuration reduces the minimum bay width down to 10 ft for dual-dexterity play.

DUO pairs two ceiling-mounted iO units side-by-side and is required for dual-dexterity play in bays under 14 ft wide. Any of the three software tiers can be ordered in the DUO configuration by selecting a DUO ceiling-height option. DUO is offered at 9'4"–10' and 9'10"–10'6" only — the LOW range (8'9"–9'5") does not support DUO. DUO adds $5,000 to the Home tier and $4,500 to Home Complete or Commercial.
