Why The Trackman USB Swing Camera

120 FPS Swing Video, Synced To Every Trackman Shot.

The Trackman USB Swing Camera is the official 120 FPS global-shutter camera for Trackman Performance Studio (TPS). Plug it into the simulator PC, and every swing is recorded and paired automatically with the ball and club data from Trackman iO, iO DUO, or Trackman 4 — no separate app, no manual clipping, no syncing video after the fact.

It is also the camera behind Trackman AI Motion Analysis in TPS, which detects body joints and club positions throughout the swing and auto-marks P-positions. Choose the Standard Angle lens for placement 6–10 ft from the golfer, or the Wide Angle lens for tight rooms where the camera sits 2–5 ft away.

Choose Your Lens

Two Lenses. Pick By Camera Distance.

Both versions use the same 120 FPS camera body, cables, and mounting adapter. The only difference is the lens field of view — which sets how far the camera needs to sit from the golfer to frame the full swing.

Standard Angle

6–10 ft From Player
  • Tighter framing on the golfer and club path
  • Best for rooms with space behind and beside the hitting area
  • Ideal for down-the-line placement behind the golfer
  • Minimal edge distortion at normal distances
  • Trackman part USEU1034

Wide Angle

2–5 ft From Player
  • Wider field of view captures the full body and swing arc
  • Built for compact bays and close mounting positions
  • Ideal for face-on placement on a side wall or enclosure frame
  • Keeps club and body in frame from close range
  • Trackman part USEU1036

Building a two-camera setup? A common pairing is a Standard Angle camera down-the-line and a Wide Angle camera face-on. The Elite Sim Golf team can help confirm lens choice from room measurements before ordering.

PC Requirements

A Capable Windows PC Is Required.

High-speed video and AI Motion Analysis run on the simulator PC, not on the launch monitor. Trackman lists the following minimum specs for the USB Swing Camera. Mac is not supported.

Not Sure About Your PC?

Send the simulator PC specs to Elite Sim Golf before ordering and the team will confirm compatibility with TPS video and AI Motion Analysis.

Operating System

Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit). macOS is not compatible.

Processor + Memory

Intel i7 processor or higher with 32 GB RAM or higher.

Graphics

Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti with 12 GB VRAM or better.

Storage

1 TB SSD. Swing video adds up quickly across sessions.

Multiple Cameras — Independent USB 3.1 Hubs

More than one camera can run on the same PC, but each camera must connect to its own independent USB 3.1 hub. Setups with three or more cameras require a PCIe USB card in the PC (sold separately).

Tripod Or Wall Mount Sold Separately

The camera ships with a mounting plate and adapter for mono-/tripods and fixed mounts. A tripod or wall mount is not included.

Placement Guide

Two Views Cover The Whole Swing.

One camera is enough to start. Most coaching bays end up with two — face-on and down-the-line — so body motion and club delivery are visible on every shot.

Face-On

Square to the golfer, opposite the chest. Shows weight shift, hip and shoulder turn, and impact position. Wide Angle suits side-wall or enclosure-frame mounting in narrower bays.

Down-The-Line

Behind the golfer, on the target line at hand height. Shows swing plane, club path, and posture. Standard Angle suits the extra distance behind the hitting area.

Longer Cable Runs

The included 5 m cable reaches most PC locations. For longer runs, add a 10 m or 15 m USB 3.1 booster extension cable.

Using a DLP projector? Some DLP projectors can cause visible flicker in high-speed camera footage. Adjusting exposure in the TPS Custom profile typically reduces the effect.

What's In The Box

Frequently Asked Questions

Trackman USB Swing Camera FAQ.

Which Trackman launch monitors work with the USB Swing Camera?

The USB Swing Camera works with Trackman iO, Trackman iO DUO, and Trackman 4 through Trackman Performance Studio (TPS) on the simulator PC.

Should I choose the Standard Angle or Wide Angle lens?

Choose by camera distance. The Standard Angle lens is designed for placement 6–10 ft from the player. The Wide Angle lens is designed for 2–5 ft from the player, which suits compact bays and side-wall or enclosure-frame mounting.

What PC specs does the camera require?

Trackman lists Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), an Intel i7 processor or higher, 32 GB RAM or higher, a 1 TB SSD, and an Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti with 12 GB VRAM. macOS is not supported.

Does the camera always record at 120 FPS?

Not always. The 120 FPS and Club Analysis presets in TPS hold 120 FPS. Custom profiles can lower the frame rate depending on exposure settings — keeping exposure time faster than 1/128s maintains 120 FPS.

Can I use more than one camera on the same PC?

Yes. Each camera must connect to its own independent USB 3.1 hub. Setups with three or more cameras require a PCIe USB card in the PC, sold separately.

Does the camera work with Trackman AI Motion Analysis?

Yes. The USB Swing Camera is the camera used for AI Motion Analysis in TPS, which detects body joints and club positions throughout the swing and auto-marks P-positions.

Is a tripod or wall mount included?

No. The camera includes a mounting adapter with 4 screws for tripods and fixed mounts. A tripod or wall mount is sold separately.

What if the included cable is too short?

The included 5 m (16 ft) cable can be extended with a 10 m or 15 m USB 3.1 booster extension cable, sold separately.

Will my projector cause flicker in the video?

Some DLP projectors can cause visible flicker in high-speed camera footage. Adjusting exposure in the TPS Custom profile typically reduces the effect.

Where should the camera be placed?

The two most useful views are face-on (square to the golfer, opposite the chest) and down-the-line (behind the golfer on the target line at hand height). Many coaching bays use one camera for each view.

What is included in the box?

One USB Swing Camera with the selected lens, one 5 m (16 ft) USB 3.1 cable, one 1 m (3 ft) USB 3.1 cable, and a mounting adapter with 4 screws.

Is Elite Sim Golf an authorized Trackman reseller?
