Overhead Camera Tracking, DIY Framing, and a Commercial-Grade Hitting Surface
This SimKit pairs the Uneekor EYE XO2 Overhead Launch Monitor with the BenQ AH700ST projector, a build-it-yourself Carl’s Place DIY enclosure sized to the room, and a Carl’s HotShot hitting mat sized to the golfer. Every enclosure size ships with a choice of Premium or High-Contrast Gray impact screen, and every mat size carries the same commercial-grade turf and stance platform.
Six enclosure footprints and four mat sizes mean this kit scales from a tight garage corner to a full two-car bay — without switching launch monitors, projectors, or install hardware.
Uneekor EYE XO2 — Front-Mounted Overhead Camera Tracking
The EYE XO2 is a ceiling-mounted launch monitor that sits in front of the tee position and reads the ball and club optically with dual high-speed cameras. Nothing sits on the floor, and both right- and left-handed golfers use the same setup without moving hardware.
Front-Mounted Overhead
The sensor mounts to the ceiling in front of the tee, so the hitting area stays completely clear of hardware.
Dual High-Speed Cameras
Two high-speed cameras read the ball and club optically from above. This is a camera-based system, not a radar unit.
12″ × 16″ Hitting Zone
A defined capture window measuring 12″ wide by 16″ long, centered under the sensor.
24 Data Points
Ball and club data together, including club path, face angle, and impact location.
Any Golf Ball
Ball data is captured with any standard golf ball. No marked or specially dotted balls are required.
Club Impact Visuals
Club-face impact imaging uses the club stickers included in the box — 400 ship with the unit.
Right & Left Handed
The overhead sensor position serves both right- and left-handed golfers with no repositioning between players.
2-Year Uneekor Warranty
Covered by Uneekor’s standard two-year manufacturer warranty.
Uneekor specifies mounting the EYE XO2 between 9ft and 10ft above the hitting surface, positioned 3ft 6in in front of the tee position. Uneekor states that failing to meet these requirements will result in accuracy issues, so confirm overhead clearance before ordering. A Windows PC is required.
Software: the EYE XO2 runs through the Uneekor Launcher with the Player Package included, plus a three-month Ultimate Package trial. Third-party platforms including GSPro, E6 Connect, and TGC 2019 connect through Uneekor’s third-party connector, which requires a Uneekor Pro Package subscription or higher once the trial ends.
BenQ AH700ST — 4000-Lumen 1080p Short Throw Laser Projection
The value option in this lineup. A 1080p laser projector with the same short throw geometry and golf tuning, at the lowest kit price.
4000 Lumens
Bright, punchy image in rooms with moderate ambient light.
1080p Resolution
Full HD projection at the most accessible price point in this lineup.
Golf Picture Modes
Factory picture presets tuned for simulator course rendering.
Laser Light Source
Long-life illumination with no lamp changes.

Carl’s Place DIY Golf Enclosure Kit
A build-it-yourself pipe-and-fabric enclosure kit in six footprints, from a tight 8×8 corner setup to a full 9×12 two-car bay. Every size is available with a Premium Golf Impact Screen or a High-Contrast Gray Impact Screen for better ball flight visibility in bright rooms.

The EYE XO2 mounts overhead independently of the enclosure frame, so all six footprints work with this kit. Run your ceiling height and room depth through the Projector Fitment Tool to confirm projector throw before choosing a size.
Carl’s HotShot — Commercial-Grade Turf, Sized to the Golfer
A dense, commercial-grade turf mat with a stance platform on both sides of a replaceable hitting strip. Four sizes scale from a compact 4×5 setup to a 6×10 platform built for full-swing practice with a wide stance range.

Which enclosure size should I pick?
Measure your room’s available width, depth, and ceiling height first, then use the Projector Fitment Tool to confirm the BenQ AH700ST’s throw distance fits your chosen footprint.
What’s the difference between the two impact screens?
The Premium Golf Impact Screen is a durable, high-quality projection surface for most rooms. The High-Contrast Gray Impact Screen improves image contrast and ball flight visibility in rooms with more ambient light.
How does the EYE XO2 track shots?
The EYE XO2 is a front-mounted overhead launch monitor that uses dual high-speed cameras to read the ball and club optically through impact. It is a camera-based system, not a radar unit.
How high does the EYE XO2 need to be mounted?
Uneekor specifies mounting the sensor between 9ft and 10ft above the hitting surface, positioned 3ft 6in in front of the tee position. Uneekor states that failing to meet these requirements will result in accuracy issues, so confirm your clearance before ordering.
Does the mounting height depend on which enclosure size I choose?
No. The EYE XO2 mounts to the ceiling or an overhead structure independently of the enclosure frame, so the 9ft to 10ft mounting requirement is a property of the room rather than the enclosure footprint. All six enclosure sizes are available with this kit.
What simulator software does the EYE XO2 work with?
The EYE XO2 runs on Uneekor’s own software through the Uneekor Launcher, and the Player Package is included. Third-party platforms including GSPro, E6 Connect, and TGC 2019 are supported through Uneekor’s third-party connector, which requires a Uneekor Pro Package subscription or higher. A three-month Ultimate Package trial is included with purchase and covers third-party access during that window.
Does the EYE XO2 require marked golf balls?
No. Ball data is captured with any standard golf ball. Club-face impact imaging uses the adhesive club stickers included in the box, and 400 stickers ship with the unit.
Do I need a computer to run this kit?
Yes. The EYE XO2 requires a Windows PC. The sensor connects to the PC directly over the included CAT6 LAN cable rather than through a USB hub or adapter.
What data does the EYE XO2 measure?
The EYE XO2 measures 24 data points covering both ball and club, including ball speed, launch angle, spin, carry and total distance, club speed, club path, face angle, attack angle, and impact location.
What’s included in this SimKit?
Uneekor EYE XO2 Overhead Launch Monitor, BenQ AH700ST projector, your selected Carl’s Place DIY enclosure size and screen type, your selected Carl’s HotShot mat size, BenQ CM00G3 ceiling mount, 25ft HDMI cable, 25ft power cable, and a landing mat sized to your enclosure.
Is a protective cover included?
No. A protective case is not part of this kit, but the Carl’s Uneekor EYE XO2 Protective Case is available separately and is worth considering because the sensor mounts above the hitting zone.
Do I need to assemble the enclosure myself?
Yes. The Carl’s Place DIY Enclosure Kit is a build-it-yourself pipe-and-fabric system. It ships with framing hardware and instructions; no welding or specialty tools are required.
What’s included with the mat?
Each Carl’s HotShot mat ships with the standard hitting strip installed. Foam and gel divot strip upgrades are available separately on the standalone mat product page.
Why does the landing mat size change?
Enclosures at 7.7×10, 7.7×13, 8×8, and 8×10.5 ship with a 6×12 landing mat. The two largest footprints, 8.5×11.5 and 9×12, ship with a 6×15 landing mat to match the larger floor area.
Does this kit support left-handed golfers?
Yes. The EYE XO2 mounts overhead in front of the hitting zone and serves both right- and left-handed golfers with no repositioning. The hitting zone measures 12″ × 16″.
Can I customize this kit further?
Yes. Use the SimKit Bundle Builder to swap any individual component for a different brand or model.
How does this SimKit ship?
This SimKit ships free via UPS Ground to the Continental US. Elite Sim Golf provides setup guidance from the time your order ships through your first sessions in the bay.
