Motorized Golf Simulator Projection Screen

A Premium Motorized Screen for a Bay You Already Have

Roller Ace is a single-roller motorized projection screen built for golfers who already have an enclosure, a netted bay, or a dedicated room and just need a serious screen to finish it. A quiet electric roller raises and lowers a wrinkle-resistant, ball-tracking-ready screen fabric on command, with the remote control included. Roller Ace is screen-only — it ships without side walls, netting, or enclosure panels, so it is best paired with an existing simulator room, net enclosure, or one of the enclosure kits below.

Roller Ace — The Screen Upgrade for a Bay That's Already There

Roller Ace is not a full enclosure kit. It is the motorized screen component for golfers who already have side netting, framed walls, or a dedicated room and want to replace a fixed screen with a cleaner, retractable one. When it is not in use, the screen rolls up out of the way instead of hanging as a fixed panel.

Wrinkle-Resistant Screen Fabric

The projection fabric is designed to stay smooth and taut for accurate golf ball tracking, without the wrinkling that degrades tracking accuracy on lower-grade retractable screens.

Motorized Electric Roller

A motorized roller raises and lowers the screen smoothly and quietly, so it can retract fully out of the way rather than staying stretched across the bay at all times.

Remote Control Included

The included remote drives the roller directly, so the screen can be deployed or stowed without reaching for a wall switch or pull cord.

Two Size Options

Roller Ace ships in a 9'10″ wide or 9'2″ wide configuration, both at 9'6″ tall, to match different bay widths without oversizing the screen.

Ceiling or Wall Mount

Installation hardware supports mounting the roller housing to the ceiling or the wall, whichever fits the framing already in place in the room.

Screen-Only Design

Roller Ace includes the roller, screen, remote, and mounting hardware only — no side walls or enclosure panels — so it drops into an existing net enclosure or framed room without duplicating structure already built.

Who Roller Ace Is For

Built for a Screen Upgrade, Not a Full Enclosure Build

Roller Ace fits golfers who already have containment sorted out, whether that is framed walls, hanging netting, or a fully finished room, and just want a better screen inside it.

The Existing-Enclosure Owner

For golfers who already have side walls or netting in place and want to swap a fixed or aging screen for a motorized, retractable one.

The Multi-Use Room Builder

For garages, basements, and bonus rooms that serve double duty, where a screen that rolls up out of the way keeps the space usable for other things.

The Net-Enclosure Upgrader

For simulator setups built around a net enclosure or cage that need a dedicated, tracking-accurate projection surface without adding a full panel structure.

The DIY Room Finisher

For golfers finishing a simulator room from scratch who plan to build or already have framing and just need the roller, screen, and remote to complete it.

Specifications

Roller Ace Screen Dimensions

Roller Ace is available in two width options, both sharing the same height, so the screen can be matched to the bay without going wider than the room allows.

Size Option 1

Width: 9'10″
Height: 9'6″
Screen Ratio: Approx. 1:1
Wider Option

Size Option 2

Width: 9'2″
Height: 9'6″
Screen Ratio: Approx. 1:1
Narrower Option

Roller & Mount

Roller Type: Motorized electric, remote-controlled
Operation: Smooth, quiet raise/lower
Mount Options: Ceiling or wall
Frame/Side Walls: Not included — single-roller screen only
Note: Roller Ace's screen dimensions (9'10″×9'6″ and 9'2″×9'6″) are near-square, close to a 1:1 aspect ratio, well suited to golf simulator use where ball flight and swing clearance matter more than a wide cinema-style ratio.

What's Included

Main motorized roller
Wrinkle-resistant projection screen fabric
Ceiling or wall installation hardware
Remote control
Please note: Roller Ace is a screen-only product. It does not include side walls, netting, or enclosure panels, and no hitting mat is included — both are sold separately so they can be matched to the existing room or enclosure.

Projector Pairing

Roller Ace Pairs With Any Short-Throw Projector

Roller Ace is the screen, so pairing it with the right short-throw projector is the only step left on the image side. Either of these two short-throw models work well with Roller Ace's screen sizes — use the Projector Fitment Tool to confirm mounting distance for the specific room.

Premium 4K

BenQ AK700ST

  • 4K UHD resolution
  • 4,000 ANSI lumens
  • Throw ratio 0.69–0.83
  • Laser light source, 20,000 hr
  • Auto Screen Fit, Golf Mode, IP5X
Full overhead launch monitor clearance — the AK700ST's short-throw lens and ceiling-rear mounting position do not interfere with ceiling-mounted overhead launch monitors (e.g. VTrack).

Best Value Laser

Optoma GT2400HDR

  • 1080p resolution
  • 4,200 ANSI lumens
  • Throw ratio 0.496:1 fixed
  • DuraCore Laser, 30,000 hr
  • 8.4ms lag, IP6X, HDR10/HLG, 360°
Ultra-short throw consideration: the GT2400HDR's 0.496:1 throw ratio mounts much closer to the screen than a standard short-throw model. In rooms with a ceiling-mounted overhead launch monitor, verify the projector mounting position does not conflict with the monitor's ceiling bracket before purchasing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Roller Ace Questions

How much room do I need for Roller Ace?

Roller Ace ships in two widths, 9'10″ or 9'2″, both at 9'6″ tall. Beyond the screen footprint, the room needs enough ceiling or wall clearance for the roller housing and enough depth in front of the screen for the projector throw and swing.

Does Roller Ace include side walls or an enclosure?

No. Roller Ace is a screen-only product — the main roller, projection screen, installation hardware, and remote control are included, but there are no side walls, netting, or enclosure panels. It is built to install inside an existing enclosure, net cage, or finished room, not to replace one.

What is included with Roller Ace?

The package includes the main motorized roller, the wrinkle-resistant projection screen, ceiling or wall installation hardware, and a remote control for operating the roller.

Is a hitting mat included?

No. A hitting mat is not included and is sold separately, so the hitting surface can be matched to the room, budget, and performance needs.

Can I use Roller Ace with any launch monitor?

Yes. Roller Ace is a screen and does not interact directly with launch monitor tracking, so it works with both ceiling-mounted overhead launch monitors and ground-based units.

What projector works with Roller Ace?

The BenQ AK700ST is the premium 4K option and the Optoma GT2400HDR is the best-value laser option. The GT2400HDR uses an ultra-short 0.496:1 throw and should be verified against any ceiling-mounted overhead monitor bracket. Always confirm mounting distance with the Projector Fitment Tool before purchasing.

How does the motorized roller work?

Roller Ace uses a motorized electric roller that raises and lowers the screen smoothly and quietly. The included remote control drives the roller directly, so the screen can be deployed for a session and stowed out of the way afterward.

Can Roller Ace be moved or relocated?

Roller Ace mounts to the ceiling or wall using the included installation hardware. Because it is a fixed mount, relocating it means uninstalling and remounting the roller housing at the new position rather than simply moving it.

Does it work for both right- and left-handed golfers?

Yes. The screen itself is not handedness-specific, so it works for both right- and left-handed setups as long as the surrounding room or enclosure provides the swing clearance needed.

Can I upgrade to a complete simulator package?

Yes. Roller Ace can be paired with a launch monitor, projector, and mat through a pre-configured SimKit or the SimKit Bundle Builder for a complete setup. Because Roller Ace is a new SKU, contact the team for current enclosure options at checkout.

What size should I choose — 9'10″ or 9'2″?

Both sizes share the same 9'6″ height, so the choice comes down to available width. The 9'10″ option suits wider bays, while the 9'2″ option fits narrower rooms or setups with tighter side clearance. Contact the team to confirm the right width for a specific room.
