ProTee VX Overhead Launch Monitor + BenQ AK700ST 4K Projector Combo
Overhead tracking and a 4K image in one order
This combo pairs the ProTee VX overhead launch monitor with the BenQ AK700ST 4K Short Throw Golf Simulator Projector. It covers the two decisions that set the ceiling on how a simulator bay actually plays — what reads the shot and what puts it on screen — and leaves the enclosure, screen, and mat open so the rest of the build can follow the room.
Every ProTee VX combo in this lineup ships with the same launch monitor, the same perpetual ProTee Labs license, and the same included set of two ProTee swing cameras. The projector is the only variable, and the BenQ AK700ST is the 4,000-lumen answer for builds that want the shortest path from ceiling mount to a squared, golf-tuned image.
ProTee VX Overhead Launch Monitor
Ceiling-mounted, markerless, 24 data points, perpetual ProTee Labs license, two swing cameras included.
BenQ AK700ST 4K Short Throw Golf Simulator Projector
4K UHD 3840 × 2160 · 4,000 ANSI lumens · 0.69–0.83:1 short throw.

ProTee VX — overhead, markerless, floor clear
ProTee VX mounts above the hitting zone and tracks club and ball with dual high-speed cameras and AI-powered analysis. Nothing sits on the floor, nothing needs a marker or a sticker, and handedness switches without moving the unit.
Ceiling-Mounted Overhead Design
Mounts overhead with nothing on the floor, which leaves the hitting zone completely clear and removes any device the club can strike.
Markerless Club And Ball Tracking
Dual high-speed cameras with AI-powered tracking read the club and ball directly. No marked balls, no club stickers, no consumables.
24 Measured And Calculated Data Points
8 measured club data points, 7 measured ball data points, and 9 calculated flight data points, plus AI-powered insights inside ProTee Labs.
Under 0.3 Second Shot Feedback
Ball flight appears on screen fast enough that the shot reads as continuous with the swing rather than as a delayed replay.
Instant Handedness Switching
Right- and left-handed play switches in seconds with no repositioning of the unit and no separate calibration routine.
Perpetual ProTee Labs License
ProTee Labs is included outright with no recurring software fees. Practice range, bag mapping, wedge matrix, dispersion stats, and dual-screen visualizers are all part of the license.
ProTee VX needs a 9 ft to 10 ft ceiling window for overhead mounting. Ceilings above 10 ft require an extender mount. Mounting hardware, wiring, and calibration steps are documented on the ProTee VX setup and support page.
Every ProTee VX ordered from Elite Sim Golf includes a set of two ProTee swing cameras at no additional cost, a $600 value, while supplies last. Tripods and camera mounts are sold separately.
The Only Projector In This Lineup Built Specifically For Golf
The AK700ST is a purpose-built golf simulator projector rather than a general-purpose short-throw with a golf picture mode bolted on. Auto Screen Fit, golf-specific color tuning, and a 1.2× motorized zoom make it the fastest of these five to get squared up on an impact screen without a laptop and a tape measure.
Auto Screen Fit
Automatically squares the projected image to the screen boundary, which removes most of the manual keystone and corner-fit work from a ceiling install.
Golf-Optimized Color Tuning
Picture modes calibrated for simulator turf, sky, and ball-flight rendering rather than for film or broadcast content.
1.2× Motorized Zoom
A 0.69–0.83:1 throw range with motorized zoom gives real placement latitude on the ceiling instead of one fixed mounting distance.
3,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast
A sealed IP5X laser engine rated around 20,000 hours in Normal mode holds black levels on darkened course renders.

Mounting distance depends on screen size, ceiling height, and where the ProTee VX sits overhead. Run the numbers through the projector fitment tool and throw calculator before drilling. Throw math done by hand from a marketed ratio produces misleading results.

What exactly comes in this combo?
One ProTee VX overhead launch monitor with its ceiling mount hardware and perpetual ProTee Labs license, the included set of two ProTee swing cameras, and one BenQ AK700ST 4K Short Throw Golf Simulator Projector with its remote, power cable, and documentation. Both items ship on a single order.
How much does the combo save against buying separately?
The ProTee VX is $6,500 on its own and the BenQ AK700ST is $2,899, so the compare-at value of the pair is $9,399. The combo is $8,999, roughly 5% off.
Why the BenQ AK700ST instead of another projector?
It is the right choice for builders who want golf-specific color tuning and the shortest path from ceiling mount to a squared image. Every ProTee VX combo in this lineup uses the same launch monitor, the same perpetual ProTee Labs license, and the same two included swing cameras, so the projector is the only variable across the five.
How do I confirm the projector will fit my room?
Use the Elite Sim Golf projector fitment tool and throw calculator. Enter the screen size and room dimensions and it returns the mounting distance for this projector. Throw math done by hand from a marketed ratio produces misleading results.
Does this combo include an enclosure, screen, or hitting mat?
No. This is a two-piece combo covering tracking and display only. For a complete bay with an enclosure, impact screen, and hitting mat, use the SimKit bundle builder or one of the pre-built ProTee VX Premium 4K packages.
Is a projector ceiling mount included?
A projector mount is not part of this combo. Projector mounts, cable kits, and enclosure hardware are available separately, and the SimKit packages bundle them in.
Can I add the VX Protector impact shield?
Yes. The VX Protector is a one-piece thermoformed clear polycarbonate shield made specifically for the ProTee VX and is sold as a separate add-on.
How does this combo ship?
Free UPS Ground to the Continental US. The launch monitor and projector may arrive in separate boxes or on separate tracking numbers depending on warehouse routing.
What warranty applies?
Each component carries its own manufacturer warranty — ProTee covers the VX launch monitor and BenQ covers the projector. Warranty terms are not changed by buying the two together.
What support comes with the combo?
ESG-backed support covers mounting questions, ProTee Labs activation, projector alignment, and simulator software setup after the order arrives. The ProTee VX setup and support page documents the install steps.
Are the two ProTee swing cameras included in this combo?
Yes. Every ProTee VX shipped by Elite Sim Golf includes a set of two ProTee swing cameras at no additional cost, giving face-on and down-the-line video synced to every shot inside ProTee Labs. Tripods and camera mounts are sold separately.
What ceiling height does the ProTee VX need?
ProTee VX is designed for overhead mounting inside a 9 ft to 10 ft ceiling window. Ceilings taller than 10 ft need an extender mount to bring the unit into range. Full mounting detail is on the ProTee VX setup and support page.
Does the ProTee VX require a subscription?
No. The ProTee Labs license is perpetual and included with the launch monitor. There are no recurring software fees to keep using the unit.
Is Elite Sim Golf an authorized ProTee reseller?
Yes. Elite Sim Golf is an authorized ProTee reseller. The ProTee VX serial number and ProTee Labs activation code are emailed automatically when the order ships.
What simulator software does the ProTee VX work with?
ProTee VX runs with GSPro and TGC 2019, plus E6 Connect and Creative Golf 3D. ProTee Labs is included as the native practice and analysis companion.
Do I need special golf balls or club stickers?
No. Tracking is markerless. Standard golf balls work and no stickers or dots are applied to the club.
Does it work for both right- and left-handed golfers?
Yes. Handedness switches in seconds without moving the unit, which makes it practical for a household or a facility with mixed players.

Support That Covers Both
Mounting, alignment, activation, and simulator software questions handled in one place.
ProTee VX handles the tracking. The BenQ AK700ST handles the image. $8,999 covers both, against a $9,399 compare-at, with the enclosure and mat left open so the rest of the bay can follow the room.
