The AK800ST is a 4K UHD short-throw DLP projector driven by a laser light source rated for 20,000 hours in Normal mode and 30,000 hours in Eco mode. That is years of daily simulator use with no bulbs to replace and no lamp-style brightness drop-off.
With a 0.69–0.83:1 throw ratio and 1.2× motorized zoom, the AK800ST mounts behind the hitting area, above the swing plane, and supports image sizes up to 300″ diagonal. It does not have optical lens shift, so plan the mount centered on the screen and let Auto Screen Fit 2.0, 3D Keystone, and Corner Fit handle final alignment. Ceiling mount notes: at roughly 13 lbs and 15.3″ wide, the AK800ST is far more compact than the AK900ST and works with the BenQ Universal Ceiling Mount CM00G3. The motorized zoom gives meaningful slack on install position.
For PC-based simulators running GSPro, E6 Connect, TGC 2019, or Awesome Golf, the AK800ST connects through three HDMI 2.1 inputs with HDCP 2.3, accepting 4K at 60Hz or 1080p up to 240Hz.
