DUO is required whenever a simulator bay is under 14 ft wide and both right- and left-handed golfers will play. Below that width, a single-unit iO cannot cover both dexterities from a single mount position. With DUO, bays as narrow as 10 ft wide support full dual-dexterity play with tour-grade measured ball and club data.

Ideal Mounting Height 9'8" — Range 9'4" To 10'.
Both Trackman iO DUO units install directly to the ceiling above the tee, side-by-side. Each unit ships with its own ceiling bracket and mounting plate for a standard VESA 100 × 100 install between 9'4" and 10' above the finished hitting surface, with 9'8" as the ideal calibration height.
For ceilings above 10'6", a VESA 100 × 100 drop mount is required per unit (sold separately). Two calibration heights (MID, HIGH) cover 9'4" to 10'6" for DUO installs. Ceilings below 9'4" are not supported in the DUO configuration — the LOW calibration profile is single-unit only.
Mount In Front Of The Tee
Trackman iO mounts 3'3" to 3'5" in front of the tee (measured from tee to center of mount) for the correct camera and radar geometry.
MID Calibration
9'4" to 10' from hitting surface to ceiling. The most common and recommended range for DUO installs.
HIGH Calibration
9'10" to 10'6" from hitting surface to ceiling. Supported by both iO and iO DUO.
Above 10'6"
Add a VESA 100 × 100 drop mount or adjustable mounting solution per unit (sold separately).
Below 9'4"
Not supported in the DUO configuration. Single-unit iO with LOW calibration (8'9"–9'5") is required instead.
Bay Requirement — 10 ft Wide Minimum With DUO
The DUO configuration supports dual-dexterity play in bays as narrow as 10 ft wide (interior wall to interior wall). For bays 14 ft wide or wider, a single-unit iO can already cover both dexterities — DUO is not required. Full driver clearance still calls for at least 10 ft ceiling and 18 ft depth.
