Epson positions it for conference rooms, hybrid workspaces, museum exhibitions, and golf simulation — applications that share a need for a large, bright, shadow-free image and long unattended runtime.
The laser light source is rated for 20,000 hours in Normal and Quiet modes and up to 30,000 hours in Extended Mode, measured to the point where brightness has dropped by half. The sealed air filter carries the same 30,000-hour maintenance rating, so there is no lamp cycle and no scheduled filter service in a normal residential install.
Placement flexibility is the headline.
