The Pure Flight design is built around two major goals: reducing impact on your body and delivering more realistic ball flight from a synthetic hitting surface. The ball sits slightly up on the turf—similar to a real fairway—so you can deliver the club at a variety of attack angles without the exaggerated bounce, grab, or face-climb feel common on many mats.
Pure Flight uses the fiber in the turf to allow for proper impact compression rather than relying only on a soft foam base. The result is a far more natural impact reaction and feel—especially with irons and wedges.
Simple Retrofit Install (ProTee Mats)
This kit is intended to retrofit an existing Elite ProTee mat that uses an insert / hitting-strip area. The included shim material helps ensure the Pure Flight strip sits level and stable within your mat cutout for a clean hitting surface.
- Remove your existing ProTee hitting strip/insert (if applicable).
- Place the included 1/4" shim into the insert area to build up height.
- Set the Pure Flight strip on top of the shim and confirm it is flush with your mat surface.
- Test a few swings and adjust shim positioning if needed for a perfect level fit.
