What ceiling height does the EYE XR require?
Uneekor specifies a ceiling height between 9 and 10 feet for the EYE XR. The unit mounts approximately 3 feet 6 inches behind the center of the hitting zone. Ceilings outside the 9 ft to 10 ft window will require a ceiling drop mount to bring the unit into the proper range.
Where does the EYE XR mount — over the ball or behind it?
The EYE XR is rear-mounted, not ceiling-mounted directly over the ball. It installs roughly 3.5 feet behind the hitting position so the dual infrared cameras can see both the club and the ball through impact. This keeps the unit out of the swing path and out of harm’s way from mishits.
Do I need club stickers or marked balls?
No. The EYE XR uses Uneekor’s Dimple Optix technology to read the dimple pattern on any standard golf ball and Club AI to read the club face without stickers. Practice with any ball, any club, any time.
