Custom Options

Grommets

Included at no additional charge. Grommets are evenly spaced around the screen every 12″. If you do not want grommets, note it in the order notes below and they will be removed on your final proof.

Included — $0
Pockets & Bungee Bottom

Select a top pocket, a bungee bottom, or both. Each option is $60. The top pocket slides over the top pole or crossbar to create a clean, fixed upper mounting point. The bungee bottom creates a smoother transition from the screen to the turf, improves the look of the bay, and can reduce bounceback by letting the screen move more naturally on impact.

Enclosure Flaps

Select any flap options needed for your build. Flaps are 7-inch material extensions that help conceal visible grommets and ball bungees for a cleaner, more finished look, and help the screen blend seamlessly into the enclosure for a more polished simulator bay.

Velcro Edge Strips

Add sewn-on velcro (hook-and-loop) strips along any screen edge for a secure, adjustable attachment to a matching enclosure or frame. Priced per edge — select any combination of Top, Left, Right, and Bottom.

Project Notes

Screen size exceeds stock panels: The dimensions entered are larger than the biggest available stock panel for this material. Add the requested size to your project notes and contact Elite Sim Golf for a custom oversize quote before ordering.

How the Builder Works +

The Custom Impact Screen Builder configures a golf simulator screen built specifically for a given setup — replacing an existing screen, building a DIY enclosure, or ordering for a new project. Select finished dimensions, screen material, and finishing options so the order matches installation needs as closely as possible.

Purpose. A structured way to size the screen correctly and choose the finishing details needed for the space. Especially useful for DIY EMT frames, custom-built bays, replacement applications, and enclosures that require specific attachment methods such as grommets, pockets, ball bungees, or zip ties.

Before ordering. Measure carefully and think through exactly how the screen will attach to the frame or enclosure. A custom screen is built to the dimensions provided, so verifying measurements and mounting method up front is the best way to ensure proper fit and tension once installed.

How to Measure Properly +

Start by measuring the total inside area where the screen will sit. From there, account for the attachment method planned for each side.

If a side of the screen will be attached using ball bungees or zip ties, deduct 3 inches from that side. This deduction allows room for the screen edge, the attachment hardware, and the tensioning area so the finished screen does not end up oversized for the opening.

Example: A frame opening measuring 120″ wide and 96″ tall, using ball bungees on the left, right, and top, would deduct:
Width: 120″ − 3″ − 3″ = 114″
Height: 96″ − 3″ = 93″

If a side is not using bungees or zip ties, and instead uses a pocket or another attachment method, that side may be measured differently depending on how the screen will be retained. When in doubt, contact Elite Sim Golf before ordering to help verify the correct finished size for the application.

Bottom Pocket vs. Bottom Bungee +

Bottom pocket. Used when the lower portion of the screen slides over or around a pipe, rod, or weighted bar. Gives a clean, finished look and keeps the lower edge in position without individual bungee points. Preferred for a more finished appearance or when the lower edge needs smooth, even retention across the bay.

Bottom bungee. Uses grommets and individual ball bungees along the bottom edge to tension the screen to the frame. A good option when the lower edge needs adjustable tension or when attaching in the same style as the top and sides. This creates visible tension points along the lower edge and requires proper spacing for the bungee hardware.

Screen Material Options +

The right material depends on budget, how often the simulator will be used, and the overall performance level wanted from the screen.

  • Premium HD Impact Screen (Entry). A great entry-level choice for a simulator on a budget. Its 1-ply construction keeps things simple and cost-effective while still providing a clean, bright image surface for casual play and practice. Ideal for lighter-use home setups where affordability is the priority.
  • Elite White Triple Layer (Most Popular). The best all-around choice for most home golf simulators, with a strong balance of image quality, feel, durability, and performance. Well suited for regular use while providing a more premium look and feel than entry-level materials.
  • Elite Grey Triple Layer (Premium Contrast). A standout upgrade for a bolder, more cinematic image. Its grey surface improves perceived contrast and image depth, making visuals look richer and more refined, particularly where controlling ambient light is a challenge. Ideal for a premium studio-style bay.

Pricing is based on fixed stock panel sizes ranging from 9½ ft to 18 ft wide and 6 ft to 10 ft tall. The entered size rounds up to the next panel that fully covers it. Sizes beyond the largest stock panel require a custom oversize quote.

Finishing Options +
  • Grommets — included at no charge, spaced every 12″.
  • Top Pocket ($75) — slides over the top pole or crossbar for a clean upper mount.
  • Bungee Bottom ($75) — smoother screen-to-turf transition and reduced bounceback.
  • Enclosure Flaps — Top ($30), Two Sides ($60), Bottom ($30); 7-inch extensions that conceal grommets and bungees.
  • Velcro Edge Strips — $35 per edge (Top, Left, Right, Bottom); sewn-on hook-and-loop for secure, adjustable attachment to a matching enclosure or frame.

Because each screen is cut to custom finished dimensions, made-to-order screens are non-returnable unless defective. Double-check your dimensions before ordering, or contact Elite Sim Golf for help confirming your finished screen size.

Important: Custom impact screens are made to order. Because every setup can vary, if there is any uncertainty about how to account for the frame, attachment method, pockets, or bungee clearance, contact Elite Sim Golf before placing the order so the proper size can be confirmed.
