What Ships With Your Protector

The VTrack Protector arrives ready to install. Confirm the box contents below before you start, and keep both foam spacers — they're what hold the panel in place and maintain the safety gap in front of the cameras.

Included Parts

  • 1 VTrack Protector panel (polycarbonate, snap-fit)
  • 2 Foam spacers (one per end)
  • 1 Protective film (peels off both sides before install)

Tools required: none. Do not use adhesives, screws, or tape — the Protector is a snap-fit design that holds itself in place.

Before you start: confirm your VTrack overhead launch monitor is mounted level and secure. The Protector snaps onto the front edge of the VTrack housing.

Installation Steps

Six Steps to a Correct Fit

Follow the steps in order. If anything looks off at Step 6, unsnap the Protector and repeat Steps 2 through 5 — the panel is designed for repeated removal.

1

Remove the Protective Film

Peel the clear protective film from both sides of the Protector. Work the edges and corners carefully and confirm no film remains anywhere on the panel. Leftover film causes glare, image distortion, and dust buildup in front of the cameras.

2

Install the Foam Spacers

Place one foam spacer at each end of the Protector, set at the very edge of the panel and centered with the camera openings. The spacers hold the Protector in position, maintain the safety gap, and dampen vibration.

3

Snap the Protector Over the VTrack

The Protector uses a sprung snap-fit design. Engage the rear mounting tab first, then swing the panel forward and upward until you hear it snap onto the ledge on the front of the VTrack housing. To remove later: pull gently forward on the front edge, then swing the panel downward and back.

4

Align to the VTrack Width

With the Protector seated, slide it so both ends sit flush with the width of the VTrack. The edges of the panel should line up evenly with the edges of the VTrack housing — no overhang on either side and no gaps.

5

Verify Camera Alignment

Confirm every opening and cutout lines up with the VTrack camera path so each camera has a fully clear view. The fastest check: open VTrack Toolkit → Device Settings and toggle the Camera Alignment screen. If the Protector is aligned correctly, you'll see no obstruction or interference on any camera feed.

6

Final Check

Run through the checklist below before your first session. If anything looks off, unsnap the Protector and repeat Steps 2 through 5.

Pre-Use Checklist

  • Both sides of the protective film have been fully removed.
  • Both foam spacers are installed and centered with the camera openings.
  • The Protector is snapped in — front and rear edges seated.
  • The panel sits flush with the VTrack housing on both ends.
  • The Camera Alignment screen shows no obstruction on any camera.

All five checked? Your VTrack Protector is properly installed and ready to play.

Frequently Asked Questions

VTrack Protector FAQ

Will the Protector interfere with my VTrack's cameras or ball tracking?

No. When installed correctly — foam spacers centered with the camera openings and the panel seated flush with the VTrack — every camera keeps a fully clear path. Verify with the Camera Alignment screen in VTrack Toolkit before your first session.

Do I need any tools to install it?

None. The Protector is a snap-fit design. Do not use adhesives, screws, or tape — they can damage the housing and are not needed.

How do I remove the Protector for cleaning?

Pull gently forward on the front edge of the panel to release the front snap, then swing the panel downward and back to disengage the rear mounting tab. The Protector is designed to be removed and reinstalled repeatedly.

What if the panel isn't flush with the VTrack housing?

Unsnap the Protector, reseat the foam spacers so they're centered with the camera openings, then snap the panel back on — rear tab first, then swing forward. Re-check with the Camera Alignment screen.

My Protector is damaged or a foam spacer is missing. Can I get a replacement?

Yes. Order a replacement Protector or spare foam spacers directly from the product page, or contact our team at sales@elitesimgolf.com or 866-4-SIM-GOLF.
