Enter your screen and room once, then compare up to three projectors side by side — mounting distance, the exact GPU resolution to set for your screen, estimated brightness, launch monitor clearance, and golfer shadow check, with live pricing from our store.
Plan your projector placement

One screen. Up to three projectors.

Pick an Elite Sim Golf, Carl’s Place or Shop Indoor Golf enclosure, or enter a custom screen, then your room. Every projector below is calculated against the same space.

Overhead units (VTrack, Uneekor EYE XO/XO2, ProTee VX) share ceiling space with the projector.

Head-to-head

How these numbers are calculated

Screen-to-lens distance = throw ratio × projected image width. When your screen is narrower than the projector’s native shape (for example a 4:3 or 16:10 screen on a 16:9 projector), the image is sized to fill the screen height and the width is calculated from the native aspect ratio. When your screen is wider, the image fills the screen width.

GPU resolution is the custom resolution that matches your screen shape at the projector’s native pixel height (or width, for screens wider than native). Set it as a custom resolution in NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Software so the simulator fills the screen without stretching. Your graphics card and projector must support the setting, and keystone correction may reduce usable pixels.

Brightness is an estimate: rated lumens ÷ full projected image area on a standard 1.0-gain screen, in foot-lamberts (1 fL ≈ 3.43 nits). Picture mode, zoom position, screen material, and room lighting change the real result.

Golfer shadow check follows the lower edge of the beam from the lens to the bottom of the screen and compares it with golfer height at the hitting position. It estimates body shadows only — check full-swing and club clearance yourself.

Lens height uses ceiling height minus lens drop, capped at 2″ below the top of the enclosure frame so the projector mounts beneath the enclosure height. Vertical offset and lens shift vary by model; confirm the mounting position on the product page before installing.
